We learned so much through the veggie venture of 2015-2022.
Selling through the Wiarton Farmers’ Market and our weekly fresh veggie box subscriptions forged relationships for which we are forever grateful.
However after seven years of growing fresh produce it is time for a break. The constant vigilance towards weather extremes, increased soil disturbance and water demands required by annual vegetable production doesn’t align with our current goals.
We look forward to the next chapter as we focus on seed stewarding, developing perennial food systems and improving our pasture with livestock.
