Our goal

Our farm’s goal is to be an abundant hub for folks to buy excellent food, learn about growing their own food, and come together to build community.

Our growing methods encourage soil health. We rely on compost, minerals and green cover crops to feed our soil biology.

Bees, butterflies and birds are welcome partners in the gardens. We create and improve habitat for our wild neighbours.

Birds Nest Garden Farm

We exchange great ideas with visitors about gardening, farming and off-grid living. Guests are able to explore a beautiful regenerating landscape.

Lambs and chickens roam the pasture at Birds Nest Garden Farm

Our off-grid home is made of cordwood and straw bale. Several of the buildings have green roofs.

On the farm  we not only grow delicious fruits and vegetables, but also raise heritage chickens on pasture for fresh eggs. This year we added lambs to the landscape over the summer.

We are located close to the Bruce Trail and several lovely hikes though forest and field.
